As a staff member, you are representing Bakiez, and so you must follow all staff rules listed. If you’re unsure of your role, refer to the ‘Rank Descriptions’ section below:

Bakiez Job Information and Tasks


Introduction

As a Staff Member, you are required to go through the necessary processes for trainings and interviews to rank up accordingly. Do not keep on asking for promotions. In order to become senior staff, you have to have great work ethic, be very active, and be available. HR positions are based on need and they are a team decision. Although grammar is not required, it’s important to have fun and be professional at all times!


Staff Rules

  • Grammar isn’t needed at the bakery, however make sure you have basic spelling and punctuation and that your sentences make sense.
  • Do not troll, spam or exploit as a staff member of you will be demoted.
  • If you need to go AFK, you must stop working and leave the staff area. This means outside of the kitchen/counters area.
  • You are permitted to use the votetojail system if you encounter a troller/disruptive player however, do not abuse this or it may result in permanent ban
  • Call an admin if you spot an exploiter.
  • Do not start drama or ‘tea’.
  • Make sure to help other staff members who may be struggling with recipes or how to work.
  • And above all, have fun! That’s the aim of the game, and be sure to make new friends!

Casher Guidelines:

As a Cashier, you are supposed to greet the customers and be professional at all times. You must know how to properly interact with customers, take orders, and utilize the cash register efficiently. If there are no registers available, please head to a different server or work as a janitor.

  • Giving a good greeting is really important! It gives a friendly impression and makes people want to keep coming back to our bakery.

Hello! Welcome to Bakiez Bakery (or BB if you have safe-chat)! My name is [NAME]! How may I help you on this fabulous day?

The greeting above is just an example, feel free to add some creativity. We recommend saving your greeting and copying it so that you can simply paste it instead of having to write it out each time.


Chef Guidelines:

A Chef’s responsibility is to make all of the delicious baked pastries all of our customers love! As a Chef, you are supposed to stay in the kitchen and make orders for our customers. If you get bored in the kitchen, it is okay to go outside and go have fun with your friends and order food! All you need to do is just stop working!

To claim orders, all you have to do is click the orders tab and chose one of the available orders pending.


Barista Guidelines:

A Barista’s responsibility is to make all of the delicious and tasty drinks that all of our customers love! As a Barista, you are supposed to stay in the kitchen and complete the drink orders for our customers. If you get bored in the kitchen, it is okay to go outside and go have fun with your friends and order food; all you need to do is just stop working!
