Custom Rigged Character doesnt move properly

So the problem is that is just slides around? (Its not gonna walk without a walking animation)

(I know its alot but I belive all of these have different solutions to a simmilar problem)

Skinned mesh character is slipping instead of walking normally

I just logged onto studio for the first time in a couple weeks and my character is sliding around like this: It worked fine for the last 3 months, and I’m pretty sure I didn’t change anything in the character to make this happen. I did a bit of testing, and the humanoidstatetype is ‘running’ (which is normal) and the problem doesn’t happen if I use the default roblox character instead of the skinned mesh character. I tried changing the hipheight to 0, 0.1, 0.5, 1, and 5, but nothin…

Walking bug in a rigged mesh

My startercharacter walks like is on ice, i mean sliding , so it better hard to control, also, when it stand in any other part, it bugs and stands still. I already try changing multiples values in humanoid like hip, please help!! and thanks for read

Custom Skinned Mesh sliding/gliding

What is the issue? I’m working on a pathfinding AI for this custom skinned mesh. I’ve done work with custom skinned meshes before where I had a similar issue but I can’t seen to solve it now. The character model slides due to what I assume has to do something with the hipheight. I’ve tried changing it, calulcating the hipheight but nothing works and it keeps sliding when moving:

Custom rig slides in movement direction

I’m having a problem with a custom rig that I’m making. Whenever the character walks, it moves very slowly and then slides forward in whichever direction it’s being moved towards. I looked this up on the forum and most people recommended changing the hip height as a solution, but neither increasing or decreasing the hip height solved the problem or even changed the sliding whatsoever. Custom (Mesh) Rig keeps sliding off of the baseplate

Hey, so I’ve been trying to make this mesh rig for a few hours and I made it work. however, the rig just starts sliding and doesn’t stop picking up speed til it falls off the side of the map. How can I fix this? I also think there may be something up with the controls (pressing W would send me backwards, D would send my forwards, etc.) but I can’t really test it while I am sliding.
