Failed to load Animation - sanitized ID

yea, best option is just to upload as many anims as you have ready and then wait 20min to an hour for them to show up in your user/group inventory before testing.

Yeah I would agree thatā€™s the best choice you have. Though Iā€™m not having this problem anymore so is it just me or is anyone else not having this problem either?

My friend got it aswell, i have tried all the methods people have commented. Why havent roblox noticed this post yet? Must be an engine bug?

I have gotten this error on my custom model on both group animations and my own animations, I am not sure what could be causing the error.

Has this Issue been fix for anyone? because I am still experiencing the same thing where the animations fail to load. This is a major Issue for me as my game mostly depends on animations, for it to look good.

Its not working for me either, I created an animation, published it to ROBLOX, loaded it from Humanoid.Animator, and played it as I get the same error. Roblox fix this!

This error is now being apparent to all new uploaded animations as of now, i think it has to do with the roblox servers but animations that were uploaded before a few hours ago work fine, and animations that are valid before that time period work too. Critical errorā€¦?

I think, itā€™s probably a critical error because some animations that I uploaded yesterday work fine but the ones I uploaded an 1 hour ago donā€™t.

Exactly what i was saying, hopefully roblox fixes this because it could really affect developing games but im sure it is going to be temporarily.

+1 to this, for me it wonā€™t even work in-game.
It still shows the animation in Toolbox but not backpack, and when I load it in the Web Browser, it shows as a valid asset, like everything else.

Iā€™ve been getting this same error. This has been an ongoing issue for over 2 months now and Iā€™m really wondering when its going to be fixed

looks like a Roblox server issue to meā€¦ so the only possible fix is to wait.

Hi guys! (I think I found the solution :white_check_mark: )

Iā€™m sure the animations arenā€™t working because the animations youā€™re using havenā€™t been uploaded to your group game. If thatā€™s the case, download them for your group game and the animation should work perfectly!

Have a nice day

your your solution is everyone is just stupid? bahahahahah
clearly you donā€™t understand the issue they are facing.

If you put the animation instance somewhere in your game beforehand and donā€™t create it instantly from a script. it works perfectly fine.

Iā€™ve been having this issue for weeks and putting the animations in replicatedStorage beforehand has fixed this error.

I I recommend adding descriptions to the animations created so that the error does not appear. It has worked for me since I tried it. Any description, such as ā€˜ajksdfjlkadsjlkf,ā€™ will work, as long as it does not contain any obscene or objectionable messages according to the Roblox team. This method works for R6 animations; I havenā€™t tested it on R15, but I imagine it will work the same way

doesnā€™t work with r15. weā€™re screwed :expressionless:
