How to test VideoFrame in Studio! (POSSIBLY OUTDATED)

True but it has been a year since they announced this. ( I think) I’m going to run this in a virtual machine, and virus total.

you can try otherwise don’t. (30 characters)

I just downloaded VirtualBox to see if it is safe.

It is safe i am pretty sure! I will send a video! :grinning:

This is pretty normal as modded instances are technically not deemed as safe. It’s a modified program so naturally your computer is going to scream at you.

Look this is 100% safe if you know what you’re doing. If you haven’t gotten into this type of stuff before then it’s neat your didn’t.

I think I will wait till it’s fully released to try it out.

Okay. Also just wondering, do you think there will be a robux cost for it?

And with this feature, here is some things I will create with videoframe.

  1. Television with many channels
  2. Movie theaters and drive-in theaters
  3. Onscreen videos
  4. Cinematics in game without using animations and hard scripting and etc
  5. Lots of more things I can’t think of I can do

I wish that will be free. Other wise I have drain my robux on this.

There will probably be a ROBUX cost for videos, since audio cost currency and videos are kind of the same thing. The ROBUX probably will depend on the length of the video, as I’m guessing.

Though it seems like it’s free at this moment but it’s not released so that is probably the cause.

Video is 62 in asset type list : AssetType | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub

I know I’m late here, but I thought I’d drop CloneTrooper1019’s response on why this is being flagged as a virus for those unaware.

tl;dr it’s not a virus and is being incorrectly flagged.
