Would a Kidnapping Feature Be Against the Terms of Service

Ok, let’s say I have a game. And in this game, you can knock someone out, take them over your shoulder. And after you take them over your shoulder you can open your car trunk and put them in and drive off. Would that be against Roblox ToS?

I’m Creating A Game With A Town That Isn’t As Happy As It’s Name Suggests, “Happyville.” I want to create a kidnapping system, and I don’t know if the way I plan to do it is against the Terms Of Service Or Not. All it is is you can knock players unconscious and drag them. The player will eventually wake up. There is no blood and gore in my game, and I put a warning that says players can not do anything violating the TOS. Is this allowed? Thank You!

So I’m working on a game with some friends, and we want to have a lot of features in it, and one of the features was the ability to kidnap someone. I wanted to know if it was against ToS to have a kidnapping feature. I tried looking around and couldn’t find another question about it so yeah.

It honestly depends on how you’re portraying these “kidnappings” (e.g. implementing a “Wild West” environment where you rope up people and place them on horses). I still remember Kohl’s admin removing their “kidnap” command where a white truck drives up to a Player and picks them up. Guess it was too realistic for Roblox TOS.

I honestly would not make a game focused on kidnapping, even if it is portrayed slightly unrealistically from real-life. This is just a really touchy and subjective topic for everyone tbh, so hard for a straight answer

Well, considering that 90% of the moderators are bots, no it’s not allowed and will get your account deleted.

They’ll think your game ‘endangers’ children.

Child Endangerment, no matter in what way it is given, gives an account deletion right away, without any warnings.

Yes, there even used to be a clown command, that would have a free candy van and take you. Mario is also a good example.

Try not to make it too graphic.
Genres where you escape a kidnapper should be fine. It could be an obby, or something similar.

All of these games have the same GUIs and sell the same currencies for Robux.

It isn’t against the rules … If it were, all of these games would’ve been taken down.
