Executive Ranks

Staff Assistant: Staff Assistants are the first level of management. The main role of Staff Assistants is to join the game and report any problems to the appropriate department. Staff Assistants may also assist in interviews, trainings or conduct general staff duties during staff shortages.
Staff Assistants must maintain activity standards and assist users where necessary. To be promoted, a staff assistant must hold their post for a minimum of 3 weeks, and be invited to a team by that team’s leader (typically through applications or team recommendations)

Supervisor: Supervisors are fully trained executives that are placed into one of three departments (Operations, Human Resources, and Communications). The responsibility of a supervisor depends on the department they are in. E.g. supervisors in the Operations department should be assisting with Trainings.
Supervisors are given a limited number of commands to help them in their duties. For example, they can view other users and can stop AFK (“farmers”) staff from working.

Manager: Managers are, like supervisors, placed in a department and their responsibilities depend based on their department. Managers have additional privileges to conduct their duties. They can, with authorization, respawn, kick, and timeout (bans a user for 15 minutes).

Senior Manager: Senior Managers are, like other executives, in a department. However, Senior Managers are considered “assistant leaders” of their department. Senior Managers undergo special training and have an advanced array of permissions at their disposal to use where necessary. They may also grant managers permission to use the kick or timeout command on a troller, or other rule breaker.

Corporate Office

The corporate officers are responsible for running the group at large. They lead their departments and ensure their section of the group is being ran appropriately. All corporate officers, minus the CEO, are on the same level and do not have authority over each other. Corporate Officers do technically have authority over Executives, however, they cannot take any formal action as they are not within their department.
If a corporate officer disagrees with how another officer is not taking action against an executive, they may raise the matter to the board of directors.

Chief Communications Officer: The CCO oversees the communications department. They are responsible for events (including game/movie nights, spirit weeks, competitions), alliances, marketing, social media, community engagement, etc. Please send any enquirers about the Communications department to the CCO.

Chief Staff Officer: The CSO oversees the Human Resources department. They are responsible for hiring general staff (interviews/applications) as-well as ensuring general staff follow the Community Guidelines and Staff Code of Conduct.

Chief Operations Officer: The COO oversees the Operations department. They are responsible for trainings, as well as ensuring staff follow the procedures when it comes to serving customers. While there is a lot of overlap between HR and Operations, think of it this way: HR are in charge of rules and how you behave, whereas Operations are in charge of how you cook.

Chief Executive Officer: The CEO is the head of the corporate officers. They listen to reports from the officers about how their department is doing and relay important information to Group Oversight. They have access to all departments and may resolve disputes between departments. The CEO (with assistance from the CSO and sometimes Human Resources), interviews and selects new Supervisors.

Board of Directors

Directors have full jurisdiction over all group members, moderators, staff, developers, corporate, etc. The director team are led by the Chairman and the President, who have final say on all decisions. When the Chairman/President is away, a board member from one level lower will act as a replacement. Should a VP go on leave, the President will cover their duties or choose a Corporate/Senior Manager to temporarily fill their responsibilities if necessary.

Vice President: VPs are handpicked by the President and Chairman. They have full permissions over all staff. Do not ask how to, or ask to be given this role, as this rank is invite-only to incredibly trusted users.

President: This rank is reserved for the co-owner of Medatsu. There is no way to earn this rank.

Chairman: This rank is reserved for the owner of Medatsu. There is no way to earn this rank.
