Pablo’s Application Guide and Hiring Instructions
Welcome to Pablo’s ‘Important Information’ page. This guide will be updated when information becomes unavailable and/or changes. Should you have any questions about anything covered here, please first check the appropriate links listed in this guide. If that does not answer your question, feel free to contact a member on the Board of Directors or above.
At pablo's we take our rules very seriously to ensure the safety of our customers and staff, but also to ensure that your time with us is as enjoyable as possible. Below are our rules as they currently stand. These may be changed in the future.
Rules
Rules:
- Do not be rude. Act appropriately. This is for everyone – staff, customers, and guests – should be treated politely.
- Do not allow a disagreement to become a heated argument. Leave it for another time or contact management to solve the dispute.
- Stay professional and polite. Do not offend customers.
- If a customer is being disruptive, report the disturbance to security or management. One unhappy customer is better than the many that they would have made unhappy by being disruptive.
- Only do your own job. Do not micromanage others.
Punishments are based on the severity of your infraction, and can be one of the following:
- A warning. Repeated offenses will garner more severe punishments.
- A temporary or permanent lock to your rank.
- Demotion, with the possibility to return to your original position if you keep up good behavior.
- A temporary or permanent exile. Disruptive and uncooperative staff are not welcome at Pablo’s.
If you’d like a deeper explanation on how our rules work, please proceed to read our Rules & Regulations post. This should answer any further questions you may have on this topic.

Promotions
Intern
To become an Intern, apply at the Pablo’s Application Center.
Pro Tip: Read our Application Guide & Hiring Instructions for more information.
Security
To join the Pablo’s Security team, you must first attend a training (if you’re an Intern) and learn the procedures, policies, and protocols for what it takes to become an official Security team member. Please read this handbook to learn more; Pablo’s Security Team Handbook.
Host/Hostess and Chef
To become either Host/Hostess or Chef at Pablo’s, you must first attend a training (if you’re an Intern) and learn the knowledge needed to work within that staff position. Once you become an official staff member, you can get promoted to the next staff rank (Bartender or Waiter/Waitress) by attending a Bartender or Waiter/Waitress promotional training. Please keep in mind that you can only do this if you achieve enough Staff Worker Points in the Host/Hostess or Chef rank.
Heads
To become one of the Head ranks and to have the opportunity to take on a management role in the future, you must first be at the staff rank of Bartender or Waiter/Waitress. You then need to achieve enough Staff Worker Points in your role to then be eligible for our Head Staff application process. Once you pass, you’ll then be eligible to chose to become either a Head Bartender or a Head Waiter/Waitress. You must be capable of understanding how our trainings work as you will be required to observe trainings every so often once you’ve obtained a Head staff position.
Shift Leader
To become a Shift Leader you must stand out among other Head staff. We expect our Shift Leaders to show dedication to Pablo’s, good leadership skills, communication skills, professionalism, and many more positive attributes. Being active and helpful to other staff members in your Head staff rank can also help have you stand out among other Head staff. As a Shift Leader you will now be required to host a training every week. (More information on how this works will be sent directly to you once you achieve this rank)
Supervisor
- You must show a high skill level at your job and at management
- You must be a Shift Leader or a Security Specialist to be chosen for a promotion
- As a Supervisor, you will focus solely on management, such as:
- Overseeing the Heads and primary staff in Pablo’s
- Overseeing trainings of Shift Leaders
- You must have a hard working mentality to be noticed for a promotion
Executive
- Must be an exceptionally proficient Supervisor.
- Be on good terms with the Pablo’s community
- As an executive we expect the following of you:
- A continued dedication to your duties as a Supervisor
- A level of responsibility for the Supervisors who you shall act as a guide and mentor to
- The ability to resolve situations properly, before they escalate to a Board member
Board of Directors
There are limited positions on the Board of Directors. Generally, promotions will not be made to this rank. On rare occasions, applications may be announced and a new Director will be hand-picked. This role requires hard work, dedication to Pablo’s, and extreme professionalism. Having a management position will increase your chances of being picked if applications do open up for a board member spot.
Head of the Board
The Head of the Board may never be available. If the position ever needs to be filled then the matter will be decided by the Founder.
Thank you once again for your time and patience.
Sincerely,
