What do you want to achieve? my roblox not freezing when i hover into a different app
What is the issue? roblox freezing when i move my mouse in a different app while in game
What solutions have you tried so far? clearing cache, reinstalling roblox, disabling geforce experience, running roblox in compatibility mode and other stuff like that
randomly started happening idk if this is even the right category for this but please help
(this also happens if i do anything in a dif app while roblox is open)
I’m also getting this type of experience (freezing) as well. Maybe the update had a bug for Windows 11?
I’d like to add that when moving around (not the cursor, instead actual character movement) in the experience and actively moving your cursor into the area that isn’t your client makes the game freeze up/drop significant frames.
Edit: Freezing continues, regardless of character movement.
Been experiencing this as well, was watching a tutorial split screen. still waiting for my second monitor that has been awaited for 6 months Whenever I moved my mouse to the tutorial to pause, Roblox would freeze and when I moved back would take a little to return to normal. Was using google chrome
I’m on Windows 10 and I’ve noticed this.
Every time I move to my second monitor and click on a different application ROBLOX freezes and eats up my CPU. When I focus back in, it takes 5-10 seconds to operate normally. This is horrible
This is most likely a bug from the recent update. Seems to be happening to a lot of people including myself. I don’t think it’s anything wrong on your side since it is happening to so many people. I assume we just have to wait for a patch.
(this reply is reposted from another report abt this issue, I thought it would be good to have this here to)
Me and someone I have talked to are also experiencing this issue on windows 11. I have tested multiple roblox games and it is effecting every single one. I have also tested non-roblox games and they are unaffected leaving it to be a issue with roblox. Although the severity depends, some causing roblox to crash and other times just a slight freeze.
It activates under the following conditions:
Tabbing out of roblox (alt+tab)
Tabbing onto roblox (alt+tab)
Moving mouse off roblox window (other screen or hotbar)
Moving mouse onto the roblox window (from other screen or hotbar)
EDIT: Moving mouse onto the top white bar of the window
