08/15/2023 - Birthday Bash 2023
Update Log
TDTNTOR 3 turns one! Come enjoy the first-ever Birthday Bash, live until 09/18/2023.
The Shopping Plaza now actually does something!
When TDTNTOR 3 launched a year ago, there was a Shopping Plaza. In fact, there still is a Shopping Plaza. Until today, it didn’t do anything besides look empty - but it now has a purpose! The shopkeepers in the Shopping Plaza actually do stuff now.
Shopkeepers sell various items, upgrades, and cosmetics which you can equip and use throughout most chapters. Not all chapters support items for balance and immersion reasons, so keep that in mind.
Items? Please elaborate for us, @cloakedyoshi.
Want to be dripping with radioactive particles because it’s your “aesthetic” and “not just a phase, mom”? Want to fight the Sorcerer with nothing but a tire iron? Want to annoy Nebulous Noob with an infuriating noisemaker? You can do that now. Oh boy, yes. You can do that now.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. Shopkeepers will have more items in the future, but to make sure everything works as intended, they’ll be starting with a small, but unique collection of flair, gadgets, and weapons.
Most of these items will remain purchasable after Birthday Bash 2023, but there’s a few rare items that will likely never see the light of day again. Any item that says it’s part of the “Birthday Bash 2023 Series” falls into this elite category.
What do I buy items with?
Throughout this event, enemies throughout the main story chapters have a chance of dropping Tix. Yeah, those Tix.
Taking inspiration from the real deal and dinosaurs, Tix will go poof at the end of the event, so make sure you spend them!
TL;DR:
Collect Tix drops from enemies, use the Tix to buy items in the shop.
There’s no point in hoarding Tix, because Tix will be destroyed once the event is over. Any purchased items will not be destroyed, you’ll keep them forever.

09/18/2023 - The Challenging Update
Update Log
Further replayability, in MY TDTNTOR 3? It’s more likely than you think!
I hear ya, earning Tix was boring.
Last month’s update introduced an economy system to TDTNTOR 3, and with it, enemies had the occasional chance to drop currency when slain. However, I heard your feedback loud and clear - slaying enemies as the ONLY way to earn currency was NOT fun.
This leads us to today, to the introduction of challenges.
Challenges? @cloakedyoshi, elaborate or else I’ll take your pet gopher.
OKAY, OKAY. DON’T BE RASH. Simply put, all players now have a set of challenges to complete in TDTNTOR 3:
- Daily challenges are relatively easy and reset every day at 12:01 AM UTC.
- Weekly challenges are a bit harder and reset every Monday at 12:01 AM UTC.
- Event challenges are temporary challenges attached to a major update or event. They go poof once their associated update/event is over.
- Lifetime challenges are permanent one-time challenges that reward players for exploration and difficult feats.
Completing a challenge will reward you with currency.
Currency? What about Tix?
As promised, Tix is dead . In their stead, enjoy bountiful Moolah and Dough.
Moolah is quite common and can also be dropped from enemies.
Dough is rather rare and can only be earned from Lifetime challenges or a single reoccurring Weekly challenge.
Are these ALL the challenges TDTNTOR 3 will have?
Nope. Today brings almost 100 challenges to TDTNTOR 3. Future updates will continue to add challenges.
If you have any suggestions for challenges, feel free to send @cloakedyoshi a message on Roblox or reach out via the Social Links.
Is this the same as TDTNTOR 2’s challenge totems?
This new challenge system should not be confused with TDTNTOR 2’s WR challenge totems. They are completely different things.
I am still investigating the best way to bring TDTNTOR 2’s WR/speedrunning system to TDTNTOR 3. Would love for it to be automatic, but unfortunately exploiters are a thing.
TL:DR:
- TDTNTOR 3 now has a standard MMORPG daily/weekly/event/lifetime challenge system.
- Complete challenges to easily get currency.
- Use currency to get cool stuff from shopkeepers.

08/16/2024 - Birthday Bash 2024
Update Log
TDTNTOR 3 turns two!
Come enjoy the second-ever Birthday Bash, live until 09/16/2024.The event items this year focus heavily on jokes that the community loves and uses quite frequently. Probably to the point of excess. Most are Nebulous themed. Not a coincidence. Clearly this is proof that my Neggulous flair astroturfing has paid off.
Introducing… “Scoped Out”
A new paid bonus chapter by @cloakedyoshi.
Exclusive to VIP pass holders first until August 23rd.Apparently the past few major updates have been quote “absolute bangers bruv” end quote. I stand by The Arena Update™ being peak. Making functional sword fighting gremlins was an affront to BUILDERMAN himself. Something something, artists aren’t appreciated during their own time.
I digress. Here’s a chapter. Yes, it’s paid. Yes, it costs money. Mow a lawn or something, I don’t know. I gotta keep up my sassy persona when fighting off theoretical critics.
OH RIGHT! The chapter! What’s in it? What is it about? Well, it’s got characters, a setting, lore, and a pretty epic boss fight.
With 8 new badges, 3 new weapons, and 1 new boss - you’re in for one heck of a time.
