Roblox I think this is lame on your part, developing should be free, not cost money. I honestly at this point will buy them, but I think it’s kinda dumb.
Second of all, this is literally advertising someone and a third party site. This should not come to Roblox and do not remove the oof sound.

Just relax and wait for the effects to be sold by the roblox dev market, it is not worth buying them all when you can buy on demand.

You don’t need to buy anything.
I imagine people will just download / reupload the oof file and then use it again. Although that’s illegal, I doubt it would actually be possible to take action against the horde of games using it.
It is sad to see that the OOF sound is leaving the community. It’s been on Roblox since 2006, but the time has sadly come.
Let’s see how the new OOF sound will sound like next month.

oh what am I saying, this “Tommy Tallarico” is a professional grifter and he does not deserve to earn a single penny from Roblox developers. He is the epitome of unprofessionalism and he has done NOTHING to earn the good graces of our community. I think it would be wise to take this post down.

It’s incredibly baffling how he would rather put an iconic death sound behind a payment other than selling the oof sound IP to roblox, I’m pretty sure he’ve done this just because he knew people would not pay attention to his other sounds.
I would not support a person who’ve disrespected us and found out he could make amounts of money for an oof sound…

Worst thing to do is removing the oof sound. The oof sound is a part of Roblox.
Removing it is the same as making the sun in Minecraft round.
Don’t do this, revert this change, delete this entire topic and never come back to this idea again.

Neither is this person a iconic figure in any of our forum communities for example @buildthomas and @PeZsmistic (just 2 examples) but he’s just the opposite of that, he’s shamed Roblox before and posted rude comments about us
Honestly, you aren’t going to achieve anything through this ad, and it’s just disgusting to see what you are doing, there are many more talented developers in the Roblox community and out of all of them you pick him?

Adding on to this, can’t people in studio just copy the asset ID and use the sounds for their games, not to mention the numerous copies that are going to be made, Roblox… you just created a massive problem for yourself.

10 dollars just so we can have the original oof sound is just messed up.
Judging from the website-- I’m not even sure what sound effects I would want. I can’t seem to find anywhere to preview these sounds.
They should’ve uploaded all of these audios and put them on sale for Robux if they needed to make money off of it. It would allow for people to preview the sounds.
Edit: I’m assuming this is what the Developer Marketplace will be for?
