I feel like adding this along with the now extended funds pending period will add yet another obstacle to the already difficult process of starting up a new group.
Sadly, this is how the real world works. Thatâs why stores go out of business. Not saying it kills competition. DG clothing has been around for years, and since, many of places have blown up. Also, budget is key. There are multiple methods of getting it for free, as in doing commissions, or working in real life for money, then spending it on Robux. Stuff you got to plan out ahead of time. Real designers could be you or the joe next door down. And a real catalog, as in, not copy pasta clothing. I hope this answered all of your questions.
This is a very good idea in order to combat botted clothing.
So what Iâm understanding is that people without premium will be able to upload clothing by paying a fee.
My question is that will people that have premium have to pay a fee to upload clothing?
This isnât described with much detail, but I am glad that you guys are addressing this as botted clothing is a severe problem in ROBLOX and this initiative would help out clothing designers that may get their clothing stolen.
Iâm also curious as to when is this update going to be implemented.
This supposed solution is interesting and itâs hard to know what exactly is going to happen and jf this will be able to cut down on botted clothing. This solution might be avoided because botted clothing groups rake in so much robux that this may not be that significant. On the other hand some smaller clothing designers may be affected by this depending on the exact requirements for uploading clothing.
Thank you ROBLOX!
Iâm in full support of this, but what about small clothing designers that have little to no robux?
Where did you guys get â100 robuxâ come from? Nothing in the OPâs post stated anything about how much will it be.
From what I see, theyâre only saying that we will have to pay to upload. We donât even know if it is actually going to be much cheaper to upload until a official announcement or update regarding of this is posted.
Although having member on dev forum to upload clothing would be perfect, but if I remember correctly you have to be 13 or older to be on the forums. Meaning that would mean kids cant make clothing which is quite unfair in my opinion.
This only includes people who make very detailed armor. Most people are referring to commissioners who do other types of clothing like casual. I say this because armor is mostly bought for higher prices (a couple thousand) but no one would spend 100+ robux for a casual top.
While non-premium members ARE able to upload clothing, premium benefits are slowly being taken away from them. I hope that stolen clothing will become a thing in the past but I highly doubt it will. Bots/copiers have uploaded clothing in the past, which they can earn robux from. Therefore they will be able to pay the fee.
I like this idea! Itâll probably stop all the shirts that are being copied and uploaded like a million times.
It came from the fact that the feature was mistakenly released a few days ago and the price was 100 R$
That doesnât really make sense. Why would you want it more higher, it would just be irrelevant.
and on top of that there is the additional fee, every sale you only get 70% of, so instead you would have to sell about 33 5$ shirts, unless theyâre gonna remove itâŚ
Will Premium users be able to upload for free, still? Or maybe at a discounted price?
Roblox has over the past few months stepped up their game in removing entire groups and all their duplicate clothes in the avatar shop. However, it is impossible for Roblox moderation on its own to fight the numbers of duplicate clothes being uploaded. A fee on uploading and selling clothes removes most of the profitability for people running these bots because selling duplicate clothes only works when done in large numbers.
So, the fee will be proportional to the contents of the uploaded asset? I donât know how this would be managed, but that seems great; much like audio uploading, right?
If so, then I donât know why people keep telling me it has a fee of 100 Robux. I am pretty sure this is going to be integrated in relation to how audio can be uploaded now.
Correct me if I am wrong.
I love the update! Now the next step is to clean up the catalog of all the duplicates, and roblox will finally be in a whole new era!
I think it should be higher than 10 robuxs if theyâre trying to stop the botting issue
I could be wrong, but I donât think 10 robuxs is enough to stop the botting issue
YES! Finally, No more:
- Spam bot uploads and catalog pollution
- No more paying for Premuim when you just want to upload two damn shirts for your game
I love you Roblox team
Since when did bots have robux?
