What does brand mean? Like the one with trademark and stuffs? or does it includes YouTubers/Content Creators

Brand means like Puma or Gucci, YouTubers/Content creators would fall under Video stars or content creators

That makes sense a lot of people we’re confused about it on Twitter. Thanks

waiting for my verified badge.

I don’t think you should be publicly saying you sold a game since that is against ToS :confounded:

That isn’t for experience owners. That’s only for brands and notable people.

Experience contributers need 10k on roblox not other platforms.

Pretty sure this is just false. It used to be against tos that’s true, but in recent years it’s become very prevalent.

It’s actually a grey area. You’re technically allowed to sell Roblox games, but Roblox discourages it as there’s no official system available to complete a successful sale trade or to prevent either parties getting scammed. There’s evidence of games selling on Roblox before, most notably Welcome to Bloxburg (~$100m) and there’s companies out there that attempt to acquire full or partial ownership & revenue of games on Roblox. Happens more often than you’d think.

As for the original response, I agree that there should be some extra terms to prevent people who aren’t genuine ‘creators’ or an original contributor of the game from getting a quick pass to a verification badge that should be exclusive.

Yes I know thats why I added “Also,”

Are there no criteria for group verification? There is no reference to group verification in this post or on the document provided in the post.

UGC developers are able to get their groups verified if their UGC content is posted under the group.

The requirements are very good except the last one, I don’t see the logical reason behind adding minimum revenue of robux for this Badge? afterall it’s called “Verified Badge” it it to know the actual famous people between the fake ones not the rich and famous people, there are 0 points of adding that.

I believe that this badge, which determines selectivity, should be earned with greater difficulty. These requirements can be easily met. :uhh:

I fully agree with you on this one. The badge should be more exclusive, sure, the average person isn’t going to meet these requirements, but a lot of people are now going to be eligible for verification including myself which I think is a bit crazy.

Only just found this from their original post last year. They said they do it in waves once a month approximately.

These requirements are not easily attainable. They may seem like it to successful people that are well above the requirements, but a lot more people needed to become verified in the first place.

I believe that’s a good thing. The verified badge should not be easily obtainable by every day devs. It should be exclusive to developers that may be as you said, successful enough to need the verified badge for the reasons it was created. Those requirements can easily be met if you have a single ‘successful’ game, or one that’s uprising. It doesn’t even have to be front page PSX level game to achieve 1M playtime hours over 90 days.

But making a successful game takes a lot of time and effort. Not everyone can do it.

Yeah, exactly. And that’s why the verification badge should be and is exclusive and not available for everyone to obtain. I think the current requirements are a good thing.
