Crowns of O’s Not Awarded Correctly

:heart: Dear Roblox staff, read the private message assosicated.

The Crown of O’s system, which rewards developers based on their Monthly Active Users (MAU), is not functioning correctly. Some developers, including myself, are not receiving the correct crowns.

:white_check_mark: Expected Behavior

Developers should receive crowns based on their highest MAU milestone reached, plus all previous milestone crowns.

Milestone Crowns:

  • :trophy: 1K MAU → Crown #1
  • :medal_military: 10K MAU → Crown #2
  • :crown: 100K MAU → Crown #3
  • :gem: 1M MAU → Crown #4

:x: Actual Behavior

  • I had 130K+ MAU before.
  • I only received the 10K MAU crown (Bombastic Crown of O’s).
  • I did not receive the 100K MAU crown.
  • I also did not get any lower crowns under 10K.

This means the system is not properly granting the crowns based on milestone progression.

:one: Reach a high MAU milestone (e.g., 100K+ MAU).
:two: Check the Crown of O’s rewards in the Avatar Editor.
:three: Notice missing crowns that should have been awarded.

This issue seems to be affecting multiple developers. It would be great if Roblox could investigate and fix the Crown of O’s distribution system.

I hope this is a actual bug and it gets fixed. This has been for a few years and getting crowns is really delayed

Also i believe you forgot some crowns including the first crown for 100 MAU:

I also have this issue, there’s a game that i am a developer of that has reached 1M+ MAU but i didn’t receive any crowns, and the creator of the game (group) still didn’t get it.
This issue has been going on for a while, Developer Awards! Phase 2: Virtual Items - #1293 by adudu21.

At least you got a crown lol I haven’t even gotten the Golden Crown of Os yet and its been almost a year since I have hit the same milestones as you

Yea, been many months since I should’ve recieved my Golden Crown, never did.

Unfortunately all we can do is keep waiting, I had gotten the 10k+ MAU crown 2-3 years after they were introduced. To this day I am waiting on my 100k+ MAU crown.

using devawards email is guaranteed to do nothing too even though they wrote u can contact or “wait”

Unless I’m wrong I think they give them out in waves? So I don’t think this is a bug

The issue is probably that the waves don’t work. I have been waiting for probably over a year for my crowns not getting them

Roblox support says to email devawards@roblox.com if you don’t receive them in 3 months but i have never received a response

Also side note isnt it weird to get the 1k MAU crown but never the 100 MAU crown.

I’ve had way above 1k MAU for the past 2 years. no crown.

Hmmm okay I can see why this would be an issue, I take my previous comment back! Hope you get the crown like you’re supposed too!

For what it’s worth, I can first hand confirm that Roblox can even occasionally send out higher level crowns to users who didn’t earn them (source: I got the bombastic crown a year ago despite not even reaching 1k mau for easily several months to a year beforehand)

Back in July of last year, Roblox seemingly backfilled a bunch of crowns together, or at least that is when it happened to me. I only then finally got a crown which I should have presumably earned all the way back in 2022.

i emailed roblox like 5 times about this and i got over 100k mau for 6 months :sob: :neutral_face: pls give me my crown

Yes, they usually take a long time to deliver the crowns, or sometimes they don’t deliver them in full. For example, I remember when they started the system of crowns for extra developers, but then they removed it. I read that later they were going to release a more efficient way to deliver crowns to the developers you worked with, but so far, nothing xD

Can verify this is an ongoing issue.

I have been eligible for the Sparkle Time Crown of O’s for many months now, and I just checked and I don’t have it.

I’m aware this program hasn’t been a priority for at least a year now, so i’m not sure why they haven’t just entirely cancelled the program if they can’t give it the attention it needs?

I havnt received my 1,000 MAU crown or my 10,000 MAU crown either… I made a post too about it. Normally when stuff is brought up here they fix it so I am gonna repost my thread until I get my crowns this is Day #1
