In a partnership with Synty, we have released several Synty Asset Packs to the Marketplace in the Toolbox. These assets are completely free to use in anything you want to create on Roblox! The packs include Nature, City, and Dungeon themed assets.
If you aren’t familiar with Synty, they specialize in great looking low poly models. All of the assets in the packs have a similar art style, so they can be mixed and matched to quickly prototype new ideas or build out a completely new experience.
Properties for individual assets in the packs such as RenderFidelity and CollisionFidelity have been tuned for optimal results. We also scaled the road tiles, floor tiles and other assets so they are in stud measurements, so you can more easily place tiles together and line them up.
We loved seeing all of the cool environments developers built with the previous set of endorsed model packs that were released. Let us know what you think of the asset packs so we can continue to release content like this for you!
Wow! These packs are insane. I hope this inspires more people into using studio and creating games with these amazing packs! Hope fully there is more Synty packs releases more in the future! I will be definitely be using some of these for. my environments in my future games.
Is there a reason you guys opted to release the models as a bunch of MeshParts with no parent Folder/Group?
For the larger packs it can cause Studio to freeze when displaying the selection boxes of so many objects, even on strong machines, to the point where models might be best to use a group for something like the Dungeon Pack.
These are a small fraction of what synty has to offer I have purchased most of their packs and I feel their art fits Roblox to a T, I recommend any Dev that doesnt have a modeler to take a look at what else they offer. They are also pretty cheap as well.
Can you post which ones you are having issues with, we haven’t seen this, except for a few lighting artifacts that we need to address in the engine itself.
