Betas
[Client Beta] Input Action System is now available to publish in experiences!

We are thrilled to announce that the Input Action System (IAS) is now in Client Beta and can be published in your live experiences.

Whether your experience has a few simple actions or dozens of layered gameplay mechanics, we highly recommend migrating to IAS to take advantage of its power and flexibility. Migrating to IAS is a game changer for building out-of-the-box cross-platform experiences.

A new handheld emulator within Roblox Studio so that you can also troubleshoot and make sure that your experiences are ready for the new ROG Xbox Ally, and future handheld devices that support Roblox.
FPS Limiter Issues in Roblox Studio

We’ve been made aware of an issue that concerns how Roblox Studio interacts with frame late limiting tools, such as RivaTuner Statistics Server or the Max Frame Rate setting in the NVIDIA Control Panel.

If they are causing issues for you in Studio, we ask that you temporarily disable these utilities
Extending InsertService:LoadAsset to Shared Model & MeshPart Assets

We’re extending the InsertService:LoadAsset functionality, enabling you to load Model and MeshPart assets that were shared with you by a Connection or group.

This will give you additional flexibility with how and when to load your collaborators’ Model and MeshPart assets.
Forums Are Now Live for All Community Owners

Forums are now available to all creators, providing a dedicated space for more meaningful conversations.

Key features of Forums include custom categories, permission management, and built-in moderation tools.

With the full launch of Community Forums, we will be making the existing Community Walls read-only by December 2025. This means that no additional posts can be added to a Wall and you can still view your content.
Sharing Animation Assets with Connections and Groups

You can now share animations from the Creator Hub asset configuration page.

On the side bar for animations, you’ll see a new Permissions option. Click Permissions and you will see tabs for sharing with Collaborators and Experiences.
Coming Soon: In-Experience Avatar Switcher

An upcoming feature launching in the coming months that will allow users to switch their avatars directly within an experience.

To prepare for Avatar Switcher, Creators need to decide if they want to support Respawn.
Price Optimization Now Includes Item-Level Price Recommendations

Price Optimization tests will now include item-level pricing recommendations, giving creators a more granular understanding of how to grow revenue while maximizing engagement.

Previously, pricing recommendations were made in aggregate.

As we continue rolling out our new Studio UI to more creators, we want to share a quick overview of the layout and functionality.

We’ve introduced two different density levels, default and compact, that you can choose between by right clicking in the ribbon area.
Introducing Avatar Settings: More Control for Developers, Better Expression for Players
- We’ve made some fixes and updates to size limit control for layered clothing, custom height/build proportion settings,setting prompts and animation pack settings.
Powerful Updates for Data Stores Observability Dashboard
- Similar to the Data Stores Observability dashboard, the Memory Stores Observability dashboard now has real-time usage charts, explore mode, chart export, and improved navigation/look-&-feel.
