Does this extend to Canada? Or just UK. I know Canada-US work relations can be difficult.

It’s actually based in the US, he just said that if you’re in the UK, they’d help you try and get a visa to move to the US.

Yeah, being underage sucks in some ways, I understand that. But some day we’ll be overage, and we’ll probably wish we weren’t. Grass is greener on the other side or whatever.

Canada is a little more complex because of nuanced immigration law combined with our specific situation. But we’re working with one of the best immigration lawyers in the industry who will maximize your chances of making it to the US. Canada, in specific, has a class of visa called a TN visa available which we would look into along with a couple of other options.

And of course we always have remote options available if all else fails.

This sounds like a good opportunity, if after 3 years the community & roblox will stay up then i won’t hesitate to apply for such a studio, and i would like if there was more positions available more than just programming! and i live in Morocco :morocco:

Sucks that there is an age requirement, I assume this is for signing contracts, tax issues, etc. I hope you find someone though.

It’s a full time job, from the looks of it, no joke-not some average thing. Even if it wasn’t for those requirements, a position like this would never hire someone under 18.

It’s not because they just wanna work with older and more mature people (that’s a bonus of course) but I believe there are strict laws with hiring minors, especially under contract (as minors cannot enter contracts by themselves) with such payment.

The company doesn’t want to deal with the hassle of working labor laws for minors, managing their school hours and in general being an employee at a professional game studio.

And like I said hiring the more emotionally and mature people are good things, as I believe majority of <18 wouldn’t be as motivated to work full time professionally on a team. They may say they do, and they may act super excited and highly motivated but soon after doing it for a couple of days they will have a burnout. This company wants people with constant motivation to get things done to make the company have some profit so it can stay alive. And I do admit, the pay is pretty nice too

I extremely love to work for DreamCraft! I think they have made Roblox better place for all the amazing games they pull of.
The only bad thing I am underaged. Could anybody just explain what a CV as what if this is your first job?

I doubt it’s for tax issues, if you’re under 18,you can file taxes with your parents. It’s most likely for contracts and reliability.

They’re asking you to send your resume to them. It is essentially a summary of yourself, and your work experience.

a CV details the whole course of the candidate’s academic career with no length limits, but a resume is a summary of your skills & experience & it shouldn’t pass more than 2 pages.

This is the point where I really wish I was not under 18. Seems like a really fun job, especially for someone who loves Roblox Development!
