Same scenario here. Logs end at the same exact place.
I’ve found two crash dumps from today inside of Roblox’s logs archive folder before I added the
DFIntWriteFullDmpPercent flag, however I’m unable to upload them to DevForum directly.
I tried to get a crash again, but I’ve had no luck so far.
Hello all,
Currently, there are three known issues:
- Enabling the Vulkan renderer through local FFlags triggers Hyperion.
- An older version (2007) of xinput1_3.dll is incompatible with Hyperion.
- Bitdefender is incompatible with Hyperion.
Fixes for the Bitdefender issue are in the pipeline.
I did not exactly figure out what was wrong with it, hopefully the engineers at Roblox try to look into it to see if they can make a patch. However, I have fixed the issue by performing a full clean install of Windows 11.
Roblox on Linux is kinda screwed right now, lots of crashing, people initially rolled back to version-57e2dd886e0e42a5
on LIVE which is 14 days outdated (as version-faaebc838e2e45f6
and version-7cc666219b484414
were both borked)
But some meanie at Roblox HQ set RCCS to block the older versions
After fixing my FFlog tracker from Roblox changing deployment channels to private, I decided to try out a different channel.
I found out that the channel zavatarteam2
works perfectly fine! Running on version-945b0906e9574b45
which was deployed 6 hours ago. (zavatarteam
should also work)
Been testing for over half an hour now without any crashes:
Listening to some tunes, no issues:
Optimisation is really horrible though, random stuttering, not as bad as the recent LIVE deployments though.
For Roblox on Linux people:
Using Vinegar:
- Edit your
config.toml
at~/.config/vinegar/config.toml
- Append the following:
[player] channel = "zavatarteam2"
Using ApplejuiceCLI: applejuicecli --install player zavatarteam2
Check with the bootstrapper/wrapper you use to see how to change your channel
If you are on Windows, I’m unsure if changing to this channel will help and I believe using a third-party bootstrapper like Bloxstrap can help you change your channel:
Keep in mind, staying on a deployment channel that is not LIVE is generally not a great idea
I found a NEW issue:
Every time I try to open the Roblox Game Client, it keeps installing and installing and installing and installing and installing and installing and installing AND INSTALLING!!! And the game doesn’t open at all!
Hello, this might be due to a install process not being able to complete successfully, for example, WebView installer.
Check your Task Manager during the installation process, if you see any process that is related to the WebView installer, end it’s task and the installation process should continue.
I have been having this issue for a couple days now I have tried everything, uninstalling roblox, deleting all temp and local files, trying the microsoft app and my game still crashes about 3 seconds into pressing play.
Hello all,
I’m going to be out of the office for some time. Until I’m back, I ask you to send your crash dumps by filling out an official bug report. If you have any issues with the bug report, by all means, feel free to forward them to me, but please be aware that there might be a significant delay before I can address them.
Thank you for your understanding.
Having the SAME issue. I can’t play a Roblox game for 15 minutes until it crashes, this only started happening when the recent update occurred. It sucks especially when I play death based games that wipes data when you die a certain amount of times or leave during combat moments.
Windows 11 Build 25982 resolved the Roblox Player crash bug.
Not for me, that resolved the bug with the player not launching at all, but it did not resolve the issue with the game crashing within 15 minutes of launch as described above.
Try moving to the zavatarteam2
deployment channel, some people (mainly in RoL) has had luck with it.
the process lastly listed is DXCORE.DLL
Has this been fixed or has roblox not done anything
Nope, didn’t work. I still crashed.
Actually no, it did in fact help with crashing. I’ve been crashing way less, actually no crashes at all. Maybe it’s because I lowered my graphics settings?
Seems like this has been starting to happen to a lot more people after the last update. Both the desktop and the UWP version seem affected. (I’m seeing a lot of people with similar issues on Reddit’s RobloxHelp)
In my case, the UWP version loads fine and you can see the start page and everything and then it just closes itself and uploads a crash dump to Roblox.
I’m crashing instantaneously here. I see the game loading screen in the corner while the rest of the client is white and it immediately closes right after with no error box. Reinstalling didn’t work.
Adding to this post, this issue has gotten much worse over the last 3 days and roblox is now nearly unplayable. It will crash almost every time I join, reset my character, or teleport to another game, along with a high chance of crashing accompanied with random freezing that occurs frequently. I’ve run my computer using safe startup so i’m pretty sure there’s no external interference.
Increase your graphics level to verify that it has worked for you, but expect mildly poor performance.

Please try to use the temporary solution of changing your deployment channel to zavatarteam2
as me and Pizzaboxer are still unsure whether it fixes the crashing on Windows.
(Multiple people in the Roblox on Linux community has confirmed it fixes their crashing)
The best way to change your deployment channel is to use a third-party bootstrapper like Bloxstrap.
This is not a isolated issue but a very odd one, I switched back to Windows to test whether Roblox crashes and I couldn’t replicate it at all but I know that a large majority of Roblox players are experiencing the same issues as you are.
Also keep in mind that you should check if there are any FastFlags you have added that may conflict or cause client instability, notably:
