Shift Hosting Guide - Frizzed Cafe

This topic has been made to inform Senior Roles of the Frizzed Cafe Community on how to host a shift successfully.

THOSE PLANNING ON HOSTING A SHIFT MUST READ THIS FIRST.
Hosting a shift can be easy & hard on several levels. As host of the shift, you are required to ensure that all is running smooth. This can range from assisting a member of staff with making a drink or food, or dealing with exploiters.

Shift Coordinator - Founder may only host shifts & have the authority to do all other actions listed beyond. Advanced Grammar required.

Intern - Associate Director may manage, supervise & deal with issues in the server. Exceptional Grammar required

Trial Barista- Team Leader may only serve & assist. As well as take a break. Below average quality of grammar required.

STEPS TO HOSTING A SHIFT Reminder: Chief Staff Officer+ may only host shifts.

STEP 1:
Announce the shift on the group, do this by going to our group page. The announcement could start with

SHIFT | Then here you can have your very interesting text, for example, “SHIFT | About that time to have a shift! Looking forward to seeing you at the cafe! | Promotions will be distributed to hard-working employees.”

Something along those lines.
Yes, you’re able to customize it to something to suit your liking. However, if the shout comes up as tags for some whatever reason, you will be required to adjust it to ensure that this shout is up to standard with our guidelines & that no words have been tagged.

STEP 2:
READ THIS GUIDE BY CLICKING ON THE LINK & COMPLETE ALL STEPS. THEN GO BACK TO STEP 3 ON THIS GUIDE.

STEP 3:
Join the place, greet & meet up with fellow staff members, guests & customers. Ensure that all is going well & proceed to the place of your choice to supervise, serve or assist. You are required to answer all necessary questions asked by customers, guests or members of staff. You are also required to ensure that there are no issues or conflict between players, at Frizzed we aim to have a sustainable community, so please ensure that you’re consistently following all of our guidelines.

FALIURE TO COMPLETE THESE STEPS WILL RESULT IN A DEMOTION.

PROMOTIONS
At Frizzed, we like promotions, especially Jack. Currently, SR+ roles are able to promote, however, this will change very soon as HR+ roles will also be able to manage roles very soon. This will create more awareness & encouragement to hard-working employees. At the moment, we would ask that SR+ roles promote members of staff in which case is hard working, one role up each time you spot them in a shift. Remember to congratulate them on their achievement & encourage them to keep working up!

POSITIVITY
Within shifts, we ask that shift hosts try to keep encouraging members of staff to have fun, whether it be you talking to them in a positive attitude or even if it’s a negative case, we don’t want you to type as if it was the end of the world. I aim for Frizzed to be a fun, engaging & mature community, there’s no reason for you to be angry, it’s just a game. :laughing:
