Update the DevForum FAQ to be up-to-date

Currently, the DevForum FAQ page—specifically the “Get Involved - Active Programs” section—is very outdated in my opinion. It currently consists of…

FOUR out of the 7 links are outdated. That is just crazy. To be specific:

  • Enroll in the Beta Program: The beta program has been on hold since Q1 of 2023, and the thread itself has been permanently closed in favor of a TBA enrollment feature [1].
  • Join the Accelerator Program: The accelerator program has been permanently sunset [2], and the topic itself which is linked leads to a 2021 accelerator opportunity topic, which has also been closed since Q4 of 2021.
  • UGC Catalog Application: Applications into the UGC program have been on pause in favor of UGC access for everyone who meets the criteria [3] since Q2 of 2024.
  • Write For the Blog!: The developer blog has been permanently closed (as evident by the [Closed] text in the title of the topic, the topic itself stating so [4], and no new blog post being added since Q4 of 2021 [5]), and is showing no signs of re-opening, or at least not anytime soon.

I suggest that Roblox removes the links specified above, and instead adds some of the actually active programs, such as the Community Feedback Program.

I’ve lightly touched the page to remove outdated/duplicative content.

This page is rarely touched/seen so don’t expect it to be very up-to-date. We might remove it in the future. If we ever want to have a comprehensive list of “programs” that people can enroll for, we probably wouldn’t host it on that page.

Thanks for calling out the outdated content.
