About the Bug Reports category

This category can be used by developers to post bug reports for the Roblox platform. Roblox engineers will look here frequently for new issues.

Report exploits privately

When a bug or exploit you wish to report could be used maliciously if posted in the public bugs categories, please instead send it to the @Exploit_Reports group. This will privately inform relevant staff members about your exploit. Do not publicly post reproduction steps for these exploits on other locations on the forum.

Do not use this group for reporting stolen games, scam places or off-site scam websites. Use the report abuse button in those cases.

After reporting an exploit privately (see above), you may post a public topic about the existence of the issue to inform other developers, but when doing so please leave out any information or imagery that allows other forum users to reproduce the exploit.

How do I report a bug?

Do you think you have found a bug, and it has not been reported before? (Use the search in the top-right to look for topics!)

Choose a subcategory that best describes your bug:

  • Studio Bugs
When the bug only happens in Roblox Studio.

  • Website Bugs
When the bug happens on the main Roblox website (not forum or Developer Hub!).

  • Mobile Bugs
When the bug only happens on the mobile app, on iOS or Android.

  • Xbox Bugs
When the bug only happens on the Xbox app.

  • Engine Bugs
When the bug happens in-game and it does not fit any of the other categories above.

After choosing a category, you need to follow the writing steps for reporting bugs:

How do I request a new feature?

Do you have a great idea for a feature that you think Roblox should make, and it has not been requested before? Please see the the Feature Requests category and select an appropriate sub-category.

What about the Developer Hub (wiki)?

Do you have an issue or request for the Roblox Developer Hub (https://developer.roblox.com/), or would you like to see a new article or tutorial, and it has not been posted about before? (Use the search in the top-right to look for topics!)

You should then make a new topic in the Developer Hub category.

I want to help improve the Developer Forum!

Forum members can see and post in the Forum Feedback category with any feature requests and bug reports they have for the Developer Forum.
